Lois Boyenoh Hemgren, founder and Secretary-General for Liberia Dujar Association, was born and raised in Liberia. Lois worked in the Liberian school system for almost 14 years serving as teacher and also vice-principal for one of Liberia's public school. She came to Sweden 1983 as secretary to the Liberian Ambassador and was later responsible the consular division.  During the civil war, Lois was stationed in Sweden. Letters from relatives and friends, and news reports from the local media kept her abreast of events in Liberia. The suffering of her fellow Liberians led her to create Liberia Dujar since then Lois has restlessly worked to enable Liberia’s children a better future. lois.hemgren@liberiadujar.org

Niclas Sannerheim is Programme Officer at Liberia Dujar Association Sweden. Niclas has a master degree in Economics and has worked with development cooperation in Africa for almost 8 years. His experience includes internships at Sida and the Ministry of Agriculture of Sweden and as Programme Officer at Shia and Forum Syd. niclas.sannerheim@liberiadujar.org
